MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A man is dead after a shooting Monday afternoon at a restaurant located on Summer Avenue.

Memphis police say they received a call about a shooting at the La Palapa Mexican Restaurant at 4:19 p.m.

Officers arrived at 5255 Summer Avenue to find one shooting victim who was rushed to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.

Police say he died at the hospital and that two people are currently detained.
