JO&JOE Auckland officially opens today, marking a milestone moment as the global hybrid hospitality brand makes its Asia Pacific debut.

Located at 16-20 Fort Street in the heart of Auckland’s CBD, JO&JOE redefines the boundaries between hostel, hotel, and local hangout with its signature ‘open house’ concept, designed for curious minds and adventurous spirits.

JO&JOE Auckland features bold interiors and playful communal spaces including the Happy House common area, a 40-seat lobby bar where guests self-check-in, a laid-back snack and chill corner, and a destination 50-seat rooftop bar and restaurant offering house made pizzas, loaded fries, tap beers and cocktails with city views.

The new hotel-hostel offers 293 beds across 75 rooms, with accommodation options ranging from shared dormitories to private rooms with ensuite bathrooms. All dorm rooms which sleep eight, six, or four people offer both female-only and male-only options, with shared and private bathrooms.

The accommodation mix includes 37 double rooms: 17 standard doubles (including 2 accessible rooms) and 20 rooms featuring bunk beds. Dorm beds start from just $65 NZD per night, providing exceptional value in New Zealand’s largest city.
