Product and partner opportunities in a flagship build
Design will play a starring role in the development’s identity. Architecture and residence interiors will come from Morris Adjmi Architects, known for projects that honor tradition while embracing the now. Hotel interiors are being handled by Lark Design Studio, with Hollander Design crafting green spaces that reflect the city’s lush, garden-filled legacy.
Whether you’re designing for elevated leisure or outfitting a flagship property, the upcoming hotel offers a blueprint for modern luxury grounded in regional character. Key features include the following:
- 139 guest rooms with warm, residential-style interiors
- Four restaurants and bars, likely to spotlight local flavors
- 7,000 square feet (650 square meters) of event space—ideal for weddings, galas, or Southern soirées
- A rooftop pool with private cabanas and skyline views
- Full-service spa with hydro-thermal facilities and private treatment rooms
- Fitness center outfitted with top-tier equipment
- Curated retail—because luxury should include a little shopping therapy
The hotel will also offer 36 branded private residences, ranging from elegant two-bedroom layouts to five-bedroom penthouses with expansive terraces, these homes are designed to deliver the full Four Seasons experience.
A strategic entry into a storied market
The property sits just steps from some of Charleston’s top cultural and culinary hotspots, including King Street, the Charleston City Market, and the Gibbes Museum of Art. Designed to fit seamlessly into the city’s historic streetscape, the eight-story development will fuse classic Southern charm with modern coastal elegance.
“Like Four Seasons, hospitality is instrumental to Charleston’s culture, and we are thrilled to enter this market, creating new opportunities for guests, residents, and locals alike to live, work, and explore with our brand,” says Bart Carnahan, President, Global Business Development, Portfolio Management and Residential, Four Seasons.
