Setting new standards in the global hospitality industry

Few countries have laid out more ambitious transformation plans than Saudi Arabia. While many Western economies struggle to greenlight major new projects, the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 has already kick-started $1.25 trillion of real estate and infrastructure developments.

The scale of the work is staggering. Five of these developments are classed as giga-projects. These include an entertainment district bigger than Walt Disney World, and a new city 33 times bigger than New York City. The transformation will touch everything from education to transport and will underpin the Kingdom’s diversification of its economy.

Red Sea Global (RSG) is one of the key drivers of Vision 2030. Saudi Arabia wants to attract 150 million visitors annually by 2030. Once its two destinations, The Red Sea and AMAALA, are complete, RSG will have built 80 resorts along the Red Sea coast. RSG expects to add $8.79 billion annually to Saudi Arabia’s economy and create 120,000 direct and indirect jobs. The development will transform tourism in Saudi Arabia and help set new standards in the global hospitality industry.
