A Boston hotel has been nominated for one of the best pet-friendly hotels in the country.

Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston is in the running for USA Today’s 10Best pet-friendly hotel. It stands alongside two other New England hotels — the Inn by the Sea in Maine and Woodstock Inn & Resort in Vermont.

The luxury hotel pampers pups with the Fairmont Furiend package, which includes a guide to dog-friendly attractions, an exclusive biscuit box and a complimentary doggy blow-out, the website said.

Guests of the hotel can also visit the Fairmont’s Canine Ambassador, Cori Copley, in the lobby.

The hotel is located at 138 St James Ave. in Boston.

USA Today teams with an expert panel to identify pet hotels for their welcoming pet policies and special animal amenities, the website said.
