At InterContinental Boston, also named the best hotel in Boston, guests stay in renovated rooms and suites with waterfront views of Boston Harbor. Wrote the publication, “there’s barely a bad view from this property—with workspaces, velvet banquette chairs, plush linens, and roomy standalone tubs with handy sliding-door windows that open into the room so you can doubly enjoy that waterfront view.”

The “versatile” Hyatt Regency Boston near the Theater District “demonstrates a real sense of range, whether you’re traveling with a furry friend and need pet-friendly accommodations or in search of more leg room, in which case a suite with its own balcony certainly couldn’t hurt,” wrote Conde Nast Traveler.

Finally, at Hotel AKA Boston Common “guest rooms carry Eames lounge chairs, plush carpeting, and workspaces that embody both functionality and a relaxed, at-home feeling, though their best amenity may be the postcard-perfect vistas of Boston offered by the city and skyline view rooms,” wrote the publication.

The No. 1 resort is COMO Uma Ubud in Bali, Indonesia.

This year, Conde Nast Traveler readers cast 757,109 votes for the annual awards, determining the very best in hotels, resorts, spas, airlines, and more worldwide. The results will be featured in the magazine’s November issue.
